The oil companies out there could simply shut down / sabotage the wells leaving little oil for the rest of Canada. The same could be said for other mineral resource companies out there in Alberta.

In the U.S., were a socialist regime return to power (Biden / Barrack-esque or even worse), Heartland America might just simply take care of their own regions and physically cut off supplies to major urban areas. In America's ground-fighting forces, the majority of the troops are conservative Heartlanders. The U.S. Navy might muster sufficient supplies, even during an economic depression, to be sent to coastal urban megalopolises. Do I doubt our Navy could do this? Yes.

As of today it appears that no stopping of the war between Russia ,Ukraine. Puttin says the Ukrainian dictator will have to walk into the kremlin if he wants to stop the killing . At least Trump tried to stop the war . With that effort taken into consideration perhaps the United states will be spared at least initially when Russia finally gets enough of the crap and launches nukes . Well at least this time I am trying to be optimistic . Bunker is ready and i stocked it more this morning with dog food for my war dog . As we have seen on another thread some's plan ls to loot . My war dog will enjoy such individuals .

 

Do we have other members that have a war dog ? No I am not talking about yappers and leg bitters . Mine is very similar to the Rhodesian Ridge Back though I will not claim it to be so . It however I know has some of the same cross breeding genetic characteristics that developed the ridge back breed . It was developed for hunting lions and was developed for lightning fast and extreme muscular strength . My dog's muscular neck is bigger than its head so keeping a collar on it is futile . I have tried a full body harness , but again futile as it is so limber it will simply stretch its front legs out front and slide out in a matter of seconds . Again temperament is identical to the ridge back as well as appearance . The only thing missing is the ridge down its back .

 

Preparing for war on your survival grounds includes preparing for during incoming ordinances as well as the folks by sheer luck survived and become looters in the aftermath .

A war story as we await further postings on this thread as to new war Developments . This I place as to the mental adaptation to war . In Nam as it was customary to be shelled every day and actually became worried one day when the shells did not rain down on us . My Vietnamese girl that I picked up daily at the front gate and brought into the firebase , one day as things were exploding about done as was my routine survival tactic and dove behind some sandbags that walled around a small shack that the officers had supplied me with . Why the officers supplied me with my personal dwelling is another story . Anyways as I was laying on the floor my Vietnamese girlfriend just looked at me in disdain and began sweeping our maybe 10 foot square adobe floor saying to me get up - G.I - get up . She realized before me the blasts were not incoming that time but were out going shells . She was a true product of war . She had known war since birth . --- Some of our members have known war and some have not . Viewing posts I have concluded our War Veterans more understand the potential of being cast into war again , over those that have only seen war videos and the war vets are more prone to prepare for their return to the battle field .

 

My instincts tell me that this nation is and has been quietly preparing for a war. The US Navy verily wants these Aircraft Carriers and Submarines we build. Unofficial words are that a war is forecasted and we will be in it by 2027 if not sooner. There is urgency to get these ships out to sea.....and work schedules are being changed to so accomodate.

No ...I do not believe it is due to the Ukraine...

I believe we have been lied to big time about the real nature of what is going on in the Ukraine by our own fallen corrupt leadership and going back many many years. WE are being played once again with good cop/bad cop. We are never supposed to realize that they are all cops..or all lawyers.

A military operates on it's belly ...so to speak.....

During war.....coffee and sugar become a very valuable commodity. So does meat.

I was astonished to find the price of hamburger going so high...so too the price of a good steak.

I do not eat much red meat as in my younger days...but....on occasion I like a good steak on my gas grill.

I am astonished at the costs of a good steak and was looking at the cost of two Ribeye's for myself and my woman.... I decided to pass.

But again...you members decide for yourselves and your reasons....but my instincts tell me that a demand of meat is taking place...not just excise taxes...but a big demand for meat....and the military goes through a lot of meat of all kinds.

Ever watch them prepare meals ...three times a day for a Submarine crew...or even an Aircraft Carrier...an even bigger task. That is a lot of food....a whole lot of food....

And we have how many big aircraft carriers out there....big ones ..and how many smaller aircraft carriers????
Support ships....et al.

And that is just the US Navy...not the other branches....

A whole huge huge huge grocery list of foods and spices...et al.



I have already purchased two new tires for my car..and plan to purchase two more for a complete set..
Also two new tires for my truck. Also new tires for my scooters....just in case.
